Built for parents
Loop is a parent-owned learning platform. Children are profiles within a parent account; they do not have independent logins. There are no advertisements or social sharing features.
What Loop stores
A parent account stores your email, first name, the child profile details you choose to provide, private schoolwork, learning observations, corrections, practice results, family learning goals, and notes. Profile details such as school, teacher, curriculum, interests and learning preferences are optional. Include only information useful for supporting your child.
How review works
When you request review, a private server sends the prepared schoolwork pages or manually entered problem, learning level, assignment type, optional title and parent note to the configured AI provider. It does not send account emails. Practice generation may also use recent learning evidence and age. Results are validated before being saved. OpenAI requests use store:false; this does not itself guarantee zero provider retention. Provider processing and security retention depend on your configured service agreement.
Storage and deletion
Supabase stores account data and private images. Images are delivered only after authentication and ownership checks. You can export your child’s history, delete an upload and linked review/practice, delete a child, or delete your entire account from Profile. Account deletion first cancels connected web subscriptions so billing does not continue. Deletes remove active learning records and image blobs. A minimal administrator audit trail of account actions, account reference, reason and time is retained for accountability; it does not contain schoolwork. Provider backups and logs may persist according to the provider’s retention policies.
Image retention
Images remain until you delete them unless the deployment owner configures and verifies scheduled cleanup. Automatic source-file deletion is disabled by default. A future configured retention policy may archive or remove source files while preserving structured learning history.
Fictional demo
The demo uses a fictional parent and children. Fictional changes are stored only in the current browser tab. Selected photos are previewed locally, never uploaded or analyzed, and not saved in the demo history. Do not enter real personal information into the demo.
Product analytics and feedback
Loop records allowlisted product events such as starting a demo or completing an analysis. Events contain an event name and timestamp, with parent account attribution for server-side account events. They never contain child names, schoolwork, answers, or feedback comments. Browser analytics honors Do Not Track. Security quotas use hashed identifiers; raw IP addresses are not saved by the quota system. Product analytics is removed after 90 days when scheduled cleanup runs. Optional feedback includes your rating, comment and relevant child or assignment reference and is deleted with your account.
